:: TWIN SCREAMERS ::
This pedal effect is inspired to the characteristic sounds of Stevie Ray Vaughan which made famous the tube screamer using 2 of them in series. The Twin Screamers couples, in 1 enclosure, 2 TS808 which can be used independetely or in series thanks to 2 footswitches. For added versatility 2 toggle switches allow selection between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping for both circuits. All these features mantaining the original 1980 circuit. The 2 footswitches, the 6 pots and the 2 toggle switches make your imagination the only limit to all the sounds you can obtain from this stompbox. It is up to you the choice of using it as a simple booster or a creamy vintage sounding overdrive with infinite shades.:: MAD SCREAMER ::
The Mad Screamer is a faithfull reproduction of the famous Ibanez TS808, plus a toggle switch which lets you choose between symmetrical (as in the original ones) and asymmetrical clipping, for a fatter and slighly muffled sound. This overdrive, amazing also as a booster, is able to produce either a smooth and warm sound as a sharp and strong one because it perfectly fits to the player picking and dynamics. The TS808 was made famous by Eric Johnson and Stevie Ray Vaughan, which used 2 of them in series, and it is one of the most popular overdrives out there, it first appeared in 1980, followed by the TS9 and the TS10. In 2004 a reissue came out, but unfortunately it does nor feature the original circuit.:: The RAT and a LONG TALE ::
It wouldn't need any introduction, one of the most famous distortion pedals in the history. The first Rat, called "Bud Box" was first made in 1978, but they started to sell it only in the 1979. It arrives to nowadays changing in a lot of versions (rat history), but they don't sound like in the beginning. This pedal is very versatile, with the regulation of the distortion it starts from an overdrive and, passing through a "classic" distortion, it goes to a fuzz. Some of the artists that made it famous are Nirvana, Melvins, Tool, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Metallica, Porcupine Tree, Jeff Beck, Radiohead, Interpol. Should I say anything else? So just enjoy my the Rat and a Long Tale.:: MOSRITE FUZZRITE ::
1962: Maestro FuzzTone. 1965: Solasound ToneBender. 1966: Dallas-Arbiter Fuzz Face and Mosrite FuzzRite. This is a short chronology of some of the first fuzzes ever made. The FuzzRite was born when Ed Sanner of Mosrite Guitars invented for his friend Leo LeBlanc a fuzz to be used with a pedal steel guitar: Moseley, owner of the Mosrite, appreciated a lot the pedal and started its production. In 1967 Moseley made an agreement with the Guild for the production of a fuzz, the Foxey Lady, an esthetical adaptation of the FuzzRite. Later Mike Matthews, future founder of the Electro Harmonix in 1968, modified it. Drawn on this pedal Matthews made the EH Axis, precursor of the Big Muff Pi. Just few words to understand how much history is around these first effects.
